Composition:
OstiumMAX Shape is an osteoconductive biomaterial composed of highly purified bovine-derived hydroxyapatite, combined with a semi-synthetic cellulose-based polymer that acts as a cohesive and forming agent. This combination provides a moldable and stable consistency, facilitating handling and adaptation to different bone defect morphologies.
The mineral component is obtained from natural bone through a multi-step purification process that ensures the removal of organic residues and compliance with international safety standards.
Due to its natural origin, the mineral phase of OstiumMAX Shape exhibits a composition and structure comparable to human mineralized bone (natural nanocrystalline apatite).
The incorporation of the polymer gives the product excellent cohesion and plasticity, allowing precise shaping and maintaining its integrity during application.
Its three-dimensional network of interconnected pores promotes cell migration, neovascularization and new bone tissue formation, contributing to effective and predictable regeneration.
OstiumMAX Shape combines the biocompatibility and osteoconductivity of bovine bone with the versatility and ease of use of a moldable matrix, offering a practical and safe solution for bone augmentation and reconstruction procedures.

0.5 g of product + 0.5 cc of saline solution
1 g of product + 1 cc of saline solution
